# Accepted identity documents

Mangopay accepts identity proof documents based on their country of issue.

The following list outlines the identity document types accepted for each country. Not all versions or formats of a listed document type are necessarily supported, as acceptance may depend on the document version, format, issuing authority, or applicable requirements. Supported documents may change as regulations and verification standards evolve. In particular, older or paper-based formats may no longer be accepted as authorities transition to more secure or digital forms of identification. This list reflects currently supported document types and does not guarantee acceptance of every version or format listed.
