### Statement descriptor available on BACS Direct Debit

The `StatementDescriptor` parameter can now be sent for [direct debit pay-ins](/api-reference/direct-debit-payins/create-direct-debit-payin) on BACS mandates (as well as SEPA).

For BACS, the length is truncated at 10 alphanumeric characters or spaces.

The `StatementDescriptor` is also available on [pay-in refunds](/api-reference/refunds/create-refund-payin) of these two payment methods.
