# .NET SDK - 4.0.0

> This SDK major version increase drops support for `netstandard2.0` and retargets to `net6.0` and `net8.0`. Review the notes below and test your integration before upgrading in Production.

## Breaking change

### Target frameworks updated to .NET 6.0 and .NET 8.0

* `MangoPay.SDK` now targets `net6.0` and `net8.0` (previously `netstandard2.0` and `net6.0`). Support for `netstandard2.0` has been dropped.
* `MangoPay.SDK.Tests` now targets `net6.0` and `net8.0` (previously `net48` and `net6.0`)

Consumers that relied on the `netstandard2.0` build (for example, .NET Framework or older runtimes) are no longer supported. Retarget your project to `net6.0` or `net8.0`.

* `Newtonsoft.Json` upgraded from `13.0.1` to `13.0.4`
* `System.Text.Json` promoted to a direct dependency, pinned to `8.0.5`, to override a vulnerable transitive version previously pulled in via RestSharp
