### Extended Preauthorization feature to rename Deposit Preauthorization

New `ExtendedPreauthorizations` service, renaming the `Deposits` service, now deprecated ([API release note](/release-notes/api/2026-10-01)):

* Exposes the following methods:
  * `create` ([POST Create a Card Extended Preauthorization](/api-reference/extended-preauthorizations/create-card-extended-preauthorization))
  * `createPayPalPreauthorization` ([POST Create a PayPal Extended Preauthorization](/api-reference/extended-preauthorizations/create-paypal-extended-preauthorization))
  * `get` ([GET View an Extended Preauthorization](/api-reference/extended-preauthorizations/view-extended-preauthorization))
  * `getAllForCard` ([GET List Extended Preauthorizations for a Card](/api-reference/extended-preauthorizations/list-extended-preauthorizations-card))
  * `getAllForUser` ([GET List Extended Preauthorizations for a User](/api-reference/extended-preauthorizations/list-extended-preauthorizations-user))
  * `update` ([PUT Cancel an Extended Preauthorization](/api-reference/extended-preauthorizations/cancel-extended-preauthorization))
  * `getTransactions` ([GET List Transactions for an Extended Preauthorization](/api-reference/transactions/list-transactions-extended-preauthorization))
* There is intentionally no `cancel` method — to cancel, call `update` with `{ PaymentStatus: 'CANCELED' }` (the same request `Deposits.cancel` issues).
* New `ExtendedPreauthorization` and `PayPalExtendedPreauthorization` models, mirroring `Deposit` and `PayPalDepositPreauthorization` field for field.
* New `PayIns.createExtendedPreauthorizedPayIn(payIn, callback, options)` method, backed by [POST Create an Extended Preauthorized PayIn](/api-reference/extended-preauthorizations/create-extended-preauthorized-payin), mirroring `createDepositPreauthorizedPayInWithoutComplement`.
* New TypeScript typings mirroring the deposit ones: the `extendedPreauthorization` model namespace (`ExtendedPreauthorizationData`, `CreateExtendedPreauthorization`, `CreatePayPalExtendedPreauthorization`, `UpdateExtendedPreauthorization`), the `ExtendedPreauthorizations` service, the `IExtendedPreauthorizationStatus` enum, and the `CreateExtendedPreAuthorizedPayIn` / `ExtendedPreAuthorizedPayInData` pay-in typings.
* The transaction typing now exposes an optional `ExtendedPreauthorizationId` field.

## Deprecated

### Deposit Preauthorization feature deprecated

* The `Deposits` service and `Deposit` model are now marked `@deprecated` — use `ExtendedPreauthorizations` / `ExtendedPreauthorization` instead.
* `PayIns.createDepositPreauthorizedPayInWithoutComplement` is now marked `@deprecated` in favor of `createExtendedPreauthorizedPayIn`.
* The transaction typing's `DepositId` field is deprecated in favor of `ExtendedPreauthorizationId`.

### `ProfilingAttemptReference`

New optional `ProfilingAttemptReference` field on the SCA user models (`UserNaturalSca`, `UserLegalSca`) and the pay-in model, with matching typings.

## Changed

### Internal cleanup

* Removed the `form-data` dependency and the unused `Api.multipartFormMethod`. File uploads (KYC and dispute documents) are unaffected, since they send base64-encoded payloads.
* Migrated the codebase from `var` to `const`/`let` and adopted `node:`-prefixed core module imports.
