Roles and scopes | Mangopay docs

This page lists the Dashboard roles that you can assign to your team members.

Each role contains scopes, which can be READ or READ & WRITE permission for that role. Each scope allows the actions listed.

Note - Dashboard roles only apply in Production

For actions based on public Mangopay API endpoints, the roles apply only in Production and only if the Production platform is also assigned to the team member.

In Sandbox, team members can take all Dashboard actions for the Sandbox API accounts they are assigned to.

Overview of roles

Admin	For admins who need all access rights but not the ability to manage and close the platform account.
IAM admin	For users who need to invite team members and assign roles.
IAM sandbox admin	For users who need to invite team members and give them access to sandboxes.
Developer	For developers who need to set up a Mangopay integration.
Read-only (developer)	For users who need to access the developer section information without being able to perform any action.
Wallets	For users who need to create wallets.
Recipients	For users who need to register bank accounts or recipients.
Pay-ins, transfers & FX conversions	For users who need to create virtual accounts and initiate pay-ins, transfers, and FX conversions.
Payouts	For users who need to initiate payouts.
Refunds	For users who need to initiate refunds.
Read-only (payment)	For users who need to access the payment and wallet sections information without being able to perform any action.
Users & identity	For users who need to manage end users’ details, KYC/KYB verification.
Disputes	For users who need to manage disputes and make pay-ins to the platform repudiation wallet to settle disputes.
