SCT Inst for DE, ES, and LU Virtual Accounts

Virtual accounts with the folowing Country values can now accept EUR payments via the SEPA Instant Credit Transfer (SCT Inst) scheme:

DE – Germany
ES – Spain
LU – Luxembourg

This functionality was already available for:

FR – France

This feature means that your users can select SCT Inst when they initiate the payment from any SEPA country with their bank, if offered by their bank. The funds should arrive in about 25 seconds.

This functionality automatically applies to all existing Virtual Accounts and Banking Aliases for these countries. No changes are required to your integration.

As a reminder, platforms using Banking Alias endpoints are strongly recommended to reintegrate the Virtual Account endpoints. The Banking Alias endpoints will be decommissioned in 2027.

All existing Banking Alias objects are available via the GET View a Virtual Account endpoint by using the Banking Alias Id and WalletId as path parameters.
