24-currency support for Virtual Accounts

Virtual Accounts now support 24 currencies, up from 7. The new currencies are all delivered through the existing LU (Luxembourg) Country value on the POST Create a Virtual Account endpoint.

The new currencies available on LU Virtual Accounts: AED, AUD, CAD, CHF, CNH, CZK, HKD, HUF, ILS, JPY, MXN, NOK, NZD, PLN, RON, SAR, SEK, SGD, TRY, USD, ZAR

These are in addition to the existing EUR support on LU accounts, bringing the total to 24 across all Virtual Account countries.

Availability of the new currencies on LU Virtual Accounts is subject to your platform’s region, vertical, and risk profile. These Virtual Accounts can also only accept cross-border payments from business accounts only (not personal ones). Activation is on request – contact Mangopay via the Dashboard.

Virtual Accounts allow you to attach an IBAN to a wallet:

• Each wallet holds a single currency
• Each Virtual Account is attached to a single wallet
• The wallet currency must match the currency you intend to receive on the Virtual Account.
