Changed

StatementDescriptor length increased to 22 characters for Card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay pay-ins

On Card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay pay-ins and preauthorizations, the StatementDescriptor parameter now accepts up to 22 alphanumeric characters (previously 10).

This gives platforms more room to identify transactions on the end user’s bank statement.

The StatementDescriptor length is unchanged (10 characters) for all other pay-in payment methods, and for Direct Debit pay-in refunds.
